Does the Droneguard insurance policy fully comply with EU regulation (EC) 785/2004?

If you are operating a UAV for commercial operations under the EU regulation (EC) 785/2004 you will need to have a minimum of 750,000 SDR’s third party liability insurance.

All our policies are compliant with EU regulation (EC) 785/2004 and include additional Liability cover for all War Risks and Allied perils.

The minimum level of liability we offer is £1,000,000 which meets the minimum standards of 750,000 SDR

Not all public liability policies include this so you will not be compliant but with the regulation, with us you will be.

While applying for your permissions or renewal permissions the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will request proof of your insurance before issuing your Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO).

All of the documentation you will receive with a policy purchased from us will help you glide through your application with the CAA.
