What are the requirements for flying commercially in the UK?

To fly commercially in the UK you need to have a permission for commercial operations from the civil aviation authority and you must meet all the requirements for flying including a full operations manual and at a minimum public liability insurance.  You must also complete a flying course from an authorised NQE before the CAA would consider your application or a qualification the CAA recognise such as the BMFA A certificate.
