Insurance for the DJI Inspire 1

The DJI inspire 1 was the first cinematic drone to feature a 360 degree rotating gimble with a 4K camera installed.  Many of our clients have an inspire 1 and are even keeping them as a back up whilst upgrading to the inspire 2.

If you have an inspire 1 and are looking for insurance check out our specialist drone insurance products.  Our insurance products are competitively priced and can be obtained quickly online or over the phone.

Due to the features of the inspire range the cost of replacement if you crash can be very expensive so it is best to look at getting insurance in place giving you peace of mind and the confidence to fly.

Uses of the DJI Inspire 1

The inspire 1 was designed to be the best ready to fly camera drone for photographers and video creators with the ability to upgrade the camera options dependent on the type of job you re doing.

DJI came out with different camera options creating the opportunity to film in different ways.  They then teamed up with FLIR to create a thermal imaging camera attachment meaning they could now cater for thermal inspections which are used for things such as solar panel inspections.

Some of the additional payloads of the Inspire 1 can be very expensive if they need replacing so it is best to get some insurance for whatever you use your Inspire 1 for.

Hover without GPS

The ability to hover without GPS means you can easily fly indoors and hover with precision.  You can even use this feature if you haven't locked on to full GPS.

Interchangeable Camera

With the intelligent gimbal you are able to swap and change the cameras giving you different options depending on the type of job you are doing.  Pick from the Zenmuse X3, X5, X5R, Z3 or XT.

Aerodynamic design

The inspire comes with a retractable landing gear made from carbon fiber.  The added strength give it the ability of a 360 degree view without the legs being in the way.
